Sunrise on Mt. Haleakala. We paid for a day tour of Mt. Haleakala. We were picked up around 2 a.m. by a van and driven to the top of Mt. Haleakala. We dressed in yellow insulated rain gear. We had to wait for quite a while for the sunrise to begin.

Part of the day tour was a bike ride down Mt. Haleakala. Half way down we were provided with breakfast. It was a great ride. We did not have to use our pedals until the very bottom of the mountain. We did have to use our brakes.
