Our final stop was at the village of Braemer. It was a great village to walk around in. Waterfall, nice little cottages, 4 churches (at least that was how many we found.) There was the ruins of a castle. The diagram of the castle showed that the castle was on a small, but long, island. It guarded a road which people used to get across the river. One of the rulers died, according to the records, after being injured and being "handled poorly" -- whatever that means. We stayed in a hotel in Braemer. Below is the picture of one of the cottages in Braemer and another of the waterfalls and stream that goes through Braemer.
