The Greyfriar's Bobby Statue is a statue that was put up in honor of a small dog. The master of a dog died suddenly and was buried. The dog stayed on the grave every day except to go to a pub to eat. This went on for 13 years. It became a legend in the city. One of Queen Victoria's ladies in waiting paid for the statue to be put up.

We went up to the Holyrood Park which is on top of a hill overlooking the city. That was where we found the unfinished monument in the picture below (looks like they were building a Parthenon replica). Brenda is standing on the monument acting like Hercules.

We caught a bus back to the hotel. Two worn out people.
