| This is near the spot where it is believed that Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. There was a platform erected on an open area on the other side of this metal fence. The fence wasn't there at the time of the Address, and many of the graves on the other side were not there. Park officials were going through old photographs and came up with what is now thought to be the place. |
| Monument in the Soldiers' Cemetery. Each of those little stones in the ground is an unknown Union soldier. The guide who took us through the Soldier's Cemetery said that the average weight of a Civil War soldier was around 130 pounds. They weren't very big. |
