Kilmacduagh (Cill Mhic Dhuach in Gaelic) was a monastic community in the area of The Burren, about 5 km from the town of Gort.

The tower was built in the 12th or 13th century, and it leans slightly from vertical.
The entrance into the tower is the door that is maybe 12 to 15 feet above the ground.
