Coit Tower

Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill. Coit Tower was built by the city in 1933 with funds left for the purpose by the widow Lillie Hitchcock Coit. It is 210 feet high on top of the 284 foot high Telegraph Hill and offers a 360 degree view of the city after you take the elevator to the top level. There are murals in a lobby that encircles the base of the tower.
