This is Cedar Grove. Cedar Grove was originally built in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Elizabeth Coates Paschall, a widow with three children, owned it in 1746. Her granddaughter, Sarah, inherited the house and married Isaac Wistar Morris. They expanded the house to double its size. In 1926 it was given to the city and moved stone by stone to its current location by 1928. The guide told me that the previous location was a distance of about a 20 minute drive.
