Lemon Hill Mansion

By 1770, Robert Morris had accumulated an extensive working farm. By 1799, Morris was forced to sell in order to satisfy creditors. Henry Pratt bought a portion of the property in 1800 and built the present house which he named Lemon Hill after the lemons in the Morris greenhouse. Lemon Hill was closed on the day I arrived.
