Philadelphia Area Tour 2007
Brandywine River Museum
DAY 1, Part 1: Brandywine River Museum
The Brandywine River Museum is near Philadelphia in Chadds Ford, PA. It houses a collection of paintings done by the Wyeth family, and it includes paintings by other artists as well. Photography of the art work is forbidden, but I found things to photograph.
We had a warm spell, and trees began to bud. But we were in the middle of a cold spell that was slowing down the blooming of the spring floral display.
This is a Pennsylvania Seal that was carved and placed on a local government building in Harrisburg, PA. It is now housed in the Brandywine River Museum.
